This year we will be engaging in a special study, that will be the focus of both our sermon series, as well as our adult studies throughout the Advent season.
We will be studying from Matt Rawle's new book, The Heart That Grew Three Sizes, and spending time exploring some faith lessons from Dr. Seuss' Christmas classic, How The Grinch Stole Christmas!
Join us for Advent worship at 9:00am or 10:30am in-person, or online at 10:30am - if you'd like to jump into one of our adult studies for this series, you are more than welcome to join! Just contact the church office and we will find a group that works for you!
Un-Trim-A-Tree: We will be partnering with Volunteer
Prince William again this December to provide Christmas gifts to less-fortunate
children in our community. Tags are available in our lobby, or by emailing
Wreaths Across America - Our annual tradition of hosting a Wreaths Across America event at the cemetery next door to the church continues in 2021. All are welcome to join us as we lay wreaths on graves here at Buckhall. If you'd like to purchase a wreath for the cemetery, or for a cemetery anywhere in the country, click here.
First Responder Appreciation: We will be collecting
cookies/baked goods at the church for our first responders in the area - stay tuned for drop-off info.
Collecting 2022 Calendars & Note Cards: We will be
collecting 2022 calendars and unused note cards for the residents of Birmingham
Green in Manassas. They can be dropped off in the lobby on the table next to the food donations.
Our Choir is proud and excited to present a Christmas Cantata for the first time since 2019. We will have one service on December 19th at 10:30am. The choir will be leading us in worship, and we'll also have a couple of congregational hymns, scripture readings, and a brief message from Pastor Sean. We hope that you will join us for the wonderful and meaningful worship experience.
We will celebrate Christmas Eve on both Thursday, Dec. 23rd AND Friday, Dec. 24th - both services will start at 7pm. This will give you two options, and helps accommodate those who traditionally travel or are otherwise unable to attend on Dec. 24th itself.
Both services will be family-friendly, and identical. They will feature scripture readings, hymns, special music from our choir, a message from Pastor Sean and will conclude with communion, candle lighting, and singing Silent Night.
We will celebrate a service of Lessons & Carols on a special One Service Sunday on December 26th at 10:30am. We know that one of the things that many people desire most in the Christmas season is a sense of familiarity and comfort in their worship.
So we are continuing our tradition of offering this special service on the Sunday after Christmas.
We will have scripture lessons, brief reflections, and of course, the traditional carols and hymns of the Christmas season - please join us for this Christmas celebration on December 26th.
Join us for another special One Service Sunday, on January 2nd at 10:30am, as we celebrate the beginning of a new year in worship.
This casual worship service will follow a familiar format to our regular services, and we'll sing a few more Christmas hymns and songs as we close out the 12 days of Christmas.
We'll also be kicking off our January sermon series, as we jump into a series entitled, Renovations & Resolutions. Join us in person at 10:30am or online on Facebook or YouTube.
