transforming our communities

What We do

The breadth of Buckhall's outreach has expanded in recent years in an effort to have a greater impact in our local, national and international communities.  Our congregation has always been extremely generous in giving of their personal time and talent to many religious, social service and charitable organizations all of which have differing missions and objectives.  In order to reflect this diversity and magnitude, we have established a multifaceted hands-on approach towards outreach, which prioritizes being personally invested & involved with the projects we support.

Where we serve

- 200+ kits (birthing & school) assembled for

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)
- Clothing & Fundraising drives for Rising Hope Mission Church (Alexandria, Va.)

- Partnering with community organizations to help provide transitional housing for families in need

- Along with many area churches, we support Manassas Help For The Homeless, providing meals and hypothermia shelters for our homeless neighbors.

- Assembly of homeless care kits for distribution to shelters and directly to individuals: Our goal is for every member of the congregation to keep a homeless kit in their car

-  Numerous food drives (>10,000 lbs a year) to support community food pantries

- Mission tree that benefits multiple organizations & missions, such as Rising Hope, Shade & Fresh Water Brazil, and others.

- Hosting numerous community groups, such as Scouts and several 12-step programs.
