    🎹 We’re looking for a Pianist! 🎶

    Position Summary:
    Buckhall United Methodist Church is seeking a pianist/accompanist to support our worship ministry. The accompanist will play for Sunday worship services, including traditional hymns, contemporary praise songs, and choir music.

    Schedule:

    • Sunday: Arrive at 9:00 a.m. for choir rehearsal and worship song practice. Worship begins at 10:00 a.m.
    • Wednesday Choir Practice 7 – 8:30 pm (No Wednesday rehearsals during summer approximately 10 weeks)
    • Spring Season (7 weeks): Sunday after worship, 1-hour choir rehearsal (preparation for Easter)
    • Fall Season (7 weeks): Sunday after worship, 1-hour choir rehearsal (preparation for Christmas Cantata)

    Compensation:
    $250 per week, depending on the accompanist’s ability to collaborate effectively with the pastor and choir.

Lay Leadership | Buckhall Board

Under the provisions of the United Methodist Book Of Discipline (our denomination's rules), Buckhall Church transitioned from a traditional committee structure of leadership to a single board model in July 2021. This board is comprised of our pastor and lay members, plus a recording secretary (non-voting). They meet monthly, on the second Thursday, and as needed for other issues that may arise.
